Our Purpose

Kiewa Catchment Landcare Groups through community action helps to preserve, protect and enhance the environment of the Kiewa River catchment by working with Landcare groups, government agencies and local businesses to achieve improved natural resource management outcomes. Kiewa Catchment Farm Trees Group was formed in 1983 in response to concerns about threats to the Kiewa Valley.

The Kiewa Catchment Landcare Groups was formed in 1999 to deliver and manage Landcare across the Kiewa River Catchment. Incorporated in Feb 2018 KCLG Inc today covers the Shires of Indigo, Wodonga and Alpine and is a not-for-profit, incorporated environmental organisation.
